Brand Design for Mexican Bakeries Rooted in Tradition

CLIENT: PANADERIA ROMO

Family-owned bakeries carry more than recipes, they carry memory, culture, and community. This brand refresh project for Panadería Romo focused on honoring Mexican heritage while welcoming a fresh, new generational voice

The Challenge

Panadería Romo wanted to preserve the legacy built by the founders’ parents while embracing the creativity and energy of the next generation. The brand needed to feel familiar and nostalgic without feeling outdated, celebrating tradition while inviting new customers into the experience.

The Hola Luz Approach

Playful, cultural, and heart-forward. We refreshed the brand by drawing inspiration from Mexican heritage, pan dulce, and the everyday ritual of sharing cafecito with family and neighbors. The visual identity balances warmth and joy with clarity, creating a brand that feels welcoming across generations. The result is a refreshed bakery brand that honors the past while confidently stepping into the future.
