Brand Design for Microblading Studios That Refuse to Blend In

CLIENT: SPIRIT & BLADE

Established communities deserve visuals that reflect where they’re headed not where they’ve been. This mini brand design project for The Social Chica focused on refreshing a well-known Latina networking community with renewed energy, clarity, and purpose.

The Challenge

Spirit & Blade wanted to stand out in a beauty space saturated with neutral palettes and soft, bohemian aesthetics. The brand needed to feel welcoming and feminine while still being confident, memorable, and expressive. Above all, it had to reflect artistry and personality—not sameness.

The Hola Luz Approach

Colorful, fun, and unapologetically feminine. We designed a brand that leans into vibrant color and clean structure to create a joyful, modern beauty identity. The visual system feels light and approachable while still polished enough to build trust in a precision-based service like microblading. The result is a brand that feels fresh, confident, and instantly recognizable, proof that beauty brands can be playful without sacrificing professionalism
